At the end of 2024, the Home Office will be phasing out physical visas – also known as Biometric Resident Permits (BRPs) - in favour of moving to a fully digital immigration system, with all immigration status recorded in the form of an eVisa. An eVisa is an online record of your immigration status and the conditions of your permission to enter or stay in the UK.

‘No Mow May’ an annual campaign started by Plantlife, encourages you to put away the lawn mowers and strimmer’s, and allow for the grass in your garden to grow for the month of May!

All CSCS affiliated Industry Accreditation Cards (Grandfather Rights) cannot be renewed after the 1st of June 2024 and ALL that have been Issued since January 2020 will expire on 31st December 2024!

Here at 1st Step Solutions, we think it is important to give back to everyone around us. Whilst we have upcoming charity events such as Hayley Laurance’s Sky Dive on the 13th of July for Cancer Research and the Macmillan Mighty Hike that three staff members are taking part in. We are keen to help with more local efforts too, especially on World Earth Day.

Here at 1st Step, we like to celebrate all achievements and awards given to our candidates. However, we feel that Aime Zimuene deserves special recognition for being presented with a Health & Safety award by Lendlease.
