Armed Forces Covenant | 1st Step Solutions receive bronze recognition award.

Having recently attended a very informative evening hosted by the Ministry of Defence, to explain the Armed Forces Covenant and the fantastic work of the Reservists, 1st Step Solutions are proud to have taken their first steps in becoming a part of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme and have subsequently been presented with their Bronze award.

The award means that we have pledged to support the Armed Forces community, and are looking forward to working with the Ministry of Defence to explore the opportunity of engaging Reservists, Armed Forces Veterans (including the wounded, injured and sick), Cadet Instructors and Military spouses/partners. The Reservists give up their spare time to serve in the Reserve Forces, balancing their civilian life with a military career to ensure that should their country require them, they would be ready to serve as part of the military.

We have demonstrated we are armed forces-friendly and are open to employing reservists and armed forces veterans, and our next step will be to work together with the ERS scheme to actively engage them within 1st Step Solutions, to show our support and thanks for all the wonderful work they do, and the sacrifices they make.
