Shauna Hughes

Shauna joined 1st Step in the Summer of 2024. She comes with a couple of years’ experience within the construction industry, wanting to focus more on the Recruitment aspect of things. With luck, Davinia approached her about joining 1st Step Solutions, to which a successful meet up led to Shauna getting the opportunity to expand her knowledge fully and start fresh here at 1st Step.

In her role currently, she is dealing with all Trades and M&E, sourcing various candidates for several different positions, with a particular liking to Electrical vacancies. Shauna also likes to ensure she builds and maintains strong relationships with them, giving candidates her equal attention and assistance as best she can. Shauna is enjoying her time here at 1st Step and looks forward to progressing through the company.

Away from work, Shauna enjoys going to the Gym, socialising with friends, spending time with family, and booking weekend get aways.
