Courtney Roye

Courtney joined 1st Step in the New Year of 2017. She was initially brought in as a Recruitment Administrator to offer support to the London & South East Trades Team. As time went on, Courtney’s role progressed through Compliance and Marketing & Communications, before finally settling into the Recruitment Team in 2021.

Since then, Courtney has found her stride with M&E Recruitment in the Midlands and North-West, and has maintained some client relationships built through her time collecting the weekly timesheets. Courtney is more than happy to work on any out-of-regular-scope roles including Gardeners and Arborists.

Outside of the office, Courtney can usually be found attached to her Kindle, reading nonstop (she is currently at 230 books read for the year), or on her laptop, writing. Courtney is hoping to finally put her Batchelor’s in Creative Writing to use by writing her first novel.
