1st Step Solutions is representing a mechanical and electrical principal contractor seeking an Electrical Supervisor for a prestigious six-story building project in London, set to begin in January 2025.

In this role, you will manage a team of electricians on an active site. Candidates with prior experience in live projects are preferred.

The project primarily focuses on electrical work, although there will be a minor component of construction tasks to supervise. Responsibilities will include replacing electrical infrastructure, armored cables, sub mains, switchboards, and more.

Given that the building is occupied, some work will require out-of-hours attendance, including occasional weekday evenings and approximately 8-10 weekend shutdowns, necessitating the presence of site management from the principal contractor.

Role:
* Provide direction and co-ordination.
* Supervising contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring all direct staff and sub-contractors are adequately trained and adhering to H&S procedures.
* Conducting toolbox talks, ordering materials, completing schedules of work, scheduling materials to ensure programme of works delivered.
* Liaise with managers on a regular basis, reporting on any and all works conducted on site.

Requirements:
* SSSTS/SMSTS.
* CSCS Skilled Trade Card.
* Previous experience in a supervisory/management role.
* City & Guilds/NVQ.
* Previous experience of working on commercial projects.
