Welfare Driver

1st Step Solutions are looking for a Welfare Driver for a project at East Midlands Airport, starting in July 2025.

We are looking for an operative to take on the role of driving the welfare van across the airfield and back. This role is working airside, so successful candidates must be willing to go through the process to obtain a full airside pass. This includes being willing to undertake a Basic DBS check. You must also be able to provide a full 5 year working history. If you have had your accountant for the 5 years, they can be used as your full reference.

To be able to drive airside, you would need to gain an M Pass. This includes
A medical
An A Permit (1 day driving course)
And 6 supervised competency drives on the airfield.

Rate | Negotiable PAYE
Hours | 8 hours a day (start & finish may vary slightly)
